Structure and Content of Communications Between Moscow’s Transport Complex and the Urban Population
Abstract
This research analyzes the structure and content of communications between Moscow's transport complex and its residents, with the aim of assessing user satisfaction levels. The communications encompass all aspects of user interaction with the transport system: route planning, obtaining schedule information, fare payment, feedback provision, notifications about transport service changes, incidents, and other related matters. The research object includes both digital communication channels (mobile applications, websites, social media platforms) and traditional channels (signage, announcements, information boards). Employing H. Lasswell's communication model and focus group methodology, the study examined the characteristics of information interaction among various user groups, transport organizations, and infrastructure elements. The research findings identified both strengths of the existing communication system and areas for improvement. The authors provide recommendations for optimizing communication strategies to enhance citizen satisfaction.
