Constructional approach to the development of Artificial General Intelligence
Abstract
The article discusses the need of society and business, including the transport and construction industries, for artificial intelligence (AI) tools that could fully and accurately perform complex tasks such as construction design. It is indicated that existing universal services based on Large Language Models (LLM) and highly specialized neural networks are not capable of handling this task in full. Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) is proposed as a probable solution. The article presents an overview of the current global understanding of what should be considered AGI, as well as an analysis of approaches proposed for its development. As a result, an original vision of an approach to the design and development of AGI based on functional mechanisms and structure of human intelligence is proposed.
